This demo for Lingumi's Micro Maths course showcases how engaging, game-based learning can enhance students' understanding of Key Stage 3 Maths topics. Leveraging Lingumi’s existing games and interactive technology, the course provides an innovative approach to teaching essential mathematical concepts like percentages, fractions, graphs and ratios. Through dynamic gameplay and intuitive design, students can explore maths in a fun, supportive environment that adapts to their learning needs.
Micro Maths is structured around an isometric town, where learners visit different areas to engage in themed maths games and lessons. Each area offers a mix of interactive videos, challenges and support, creating an engaging learning journey. This blend of gameplay and education encourages students to progress through challenges and develop maths skills while earning points. Further development of Lingumi’s technology would enable personalised learning experiences, with adaptive scoring systems to track progress, provide tailored feedback and create individualised learning paths for each student.
